Re: Most interesting...
Wed, May 19, 2004 - 11:07 PMI took all the leftover gauge samples and granny squares and part so afgans that I had knitted or crocheted, and I pieced them all into a full length robe for mardi gras and street fair events. People are always asking me how to make one and if they can buy the pattern and I just laugh because it's just a bit of cosmic magic one of a kind original art.

Thu, May 27, 2004 - 3:23 AMThe most interesting thing I've created in crochet were goats, trees, and fruits that have teeth on them. Yes, they supposely are the unadable fruit~ -

Re: Most interesting...
Mon, June 14, 2004 - 3:33 PMI starte dout piecing together scraps of yarn from other projects to make a large blanket. Somehow it turned into a poncho! I ended up sewing the edge together, putting a collar on it, and presto! It's got several fabrics and colors and really stand out in black lighting. It's WARM. People ask me all the time if I can make it or get the pattern, but I didn't have a pattern. : )
This is a great tribe!!!!
I am searching for sock monkey or 'sock pet' patterns. Anyone know of a good site to check out???

Tue, July 13, 2004 - 12:03 PMI have fun crocheting with used plastic bags, I turn them into handbags. The pattern is from Marlo's Corner, or some thing like that. I've made several, I suppose it's a basic bag/purse pattern. I mostly use blue Walmart bags....

Re: Most interesting...
Wed, November 30, 2005 - 8:38 AMHey I've made a few bag o bags myself even little ones for little girls and a big manly one for a guy as per his request. I must admit though tthe strangest thing I ever made is a penis warmer! was being silly one day and made it for my husband as a joke. It covers the whole thing and ties around the waist. He's never worn it but I think he still has it somewhere.
